This program was initiated in 2007 to help reduce crime in St-Pierre-Jolys. It consists of volunteers who patrol on foot, bike or vehicles in pairs. They watch for unusual criminal activities and report it directly to the RCMP. They do not have the mandate to arrest. They are non-confrontational therefore they're not putting themselves or the public at risk. The role of the Citizen's Patrol is to assist the RCMP by being extra eyes and ears.
