Cinéma Station: Youth For Christ

Here at Youth for Christ, our youths' future is our passion! We see the hope and potential in every young person. It is a safe place to hang out and play games during spares, lunch and after school. The youth are encouraged to nurture a healthy, vibrant faith in God. Cinéma Station is open for ages 12-19 although Friday evening is open to all ages. On Friday nights Cinéma Station shows family movies for the community and youth are invited to play games afterwards. Our Friday evenings have been helpful in letting our youth volunteer. Also, bookings for birthday parties and other gatherings are becoming more popular.

Musée St-Pierre Museum

Built in 1900, this building was a teaching convent owned by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. It served as a public school for grades 1 to 10 and as a girl's boarding school for 60 years. Visit a traditional classroom; view the parlour, which served as a reception area for the guests, the chapel and mother superior's small bedroom, along with photos and some community artifacts. This museum serves as a reminder of our heritage and wishes to recognize the important contribution made by the Sisters in the development of St-Pierre-Jolys.
